Who was one of the founders of `Slavonic Review' and presided the 
Society of British historians, not to speak about some others. Correct
me if I am wrong, I read his biography quite a long time ago...

theis was most certainly the most beautiful experience
in my life. I am a hungarian american, born in the US to
immigrant parents from hungary. I do appreciate your taste for hungary's
accents, but i found roma, firenza, and venezia to be absolutely
marvelous. The people were all very friendly, courteous
and helpful, unfortunately, unlike it is here in the states
to a large degree. I do particularly love the italian women, most especially
theone I married. I had a student here from Padova for 6 months
about 2 years ago, who was a pleasant person as welll.

The International Insult Dictionary - want to help?


The objective of this project is to compile an international  translating
dictionary  of  curses,  as  there  is  no (adequate) equivalent publicly
available on the Internet. This idea was inspired by my last vacation  in
the  Caribbean; the aim is to include insults in as many languages for as
many cultures as possible - it should be big!

Have you ever found yourself on the  street  in  a  foreign  country  and
suddenly  realized  that  school  doesn't teach you half of the words you
hear? This should no longer be a problem!

If you are fluent (*) in any language or would like to contribute to this
project in any other way (such as a website (**), Tex / PostScript layout
and conversion of  the  document,  mailing  list,  coding  a  translation
program,   or   anything   else  of  help),  please  send  an  e-mail  to
 stating your language(s) or  whatever  else
you want to do. To avoid unnecessary bandwidth, further discussion should
be moved to the newsgroup sci.lang until a mailinglist is available.

Even the most obscure languages and dialects are welcome - the goal is to
be  able  to  translate  FROM ANY language TO ANY language! Every help is
needed!  Include your culture in this project to fill a gap in documented
communication.
