Catherine Gallagher:

Catherine comes from Donegal in the North West of Ireland. She is 22years of 
age and she has been dancing since the age of 5. She attended Irish dance lesso
ns 
with her 3 brothers. 
They are all Champion  dancers and now they are all dancing in Lord of the Danc
e 
and Riverdance all  over the world.
Catherine has competed successfully in all major Irish Dance Championships. 

 Her highest achievments include:

1st place in The All Ireland Championships
3rd place in The World Championships
2nd place in The American National Chamionships
2nd place in The British National Championships
2nd place in The Ulster Campionships

Riverdance The Show

Catherine joined The Riverdance 'Fly-in Squad' in July '97. As part of this 
group she did much Promotional work with the Liffey Company. She has 
performed at The Proms in Hyde Park London and Gael Force in Dublin's Point 
Theatre. She toured England with Riverdance until December of `97 and 
performed in The Hammersmith Appollo London for several weeks.
In January '98 she joined The Riverdance'The Lagan Company` and toured 
with her brother Michael Pat who is the Lead Dancer there. She has travelled 
all over the United States an Canada with Riverdance and She left the 
Company in October of `99.

Catherine has also performed with Liam Harney's " Celtic Fusion" in January 
of 2000. Performing in Florida.
